This Remington manufactured first variation receiver is designed for the bar type ejector and is for the earliest of model 740 Woodsmaster semi-auto rifles. The overall condition is very good retaining most of its original blue finish with light wear. This is the only part on the model 740 rifle that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through a dealer. Receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines.
